PREDEX
Predex, the Berlin-based DJ, producer, and sound engineer originally from Turkey, crafts a distinctive sound rooted in melodic house, techno, and electronica. Drawing from an early background in progressive rock and metal, his music blends emotional atmospheres with sharp club precision.
His breakthrough moment came with the ‘Praise the Sky’ EP on Frau Blau — a collaboration with ELIF that gained international recognition and was remixed by industry heavyweights Rodriguez Jr. and Aëther — followed by his debut album, ‘Momentum,’ on Marginalia, showcasing Predex’s ability to create both intimate listening experiences and powerful dance floor moments.
His productions and sets have carried him from Berlin clubs like Kater Blau, Renate, Birgit, and Ritter Butzke to various Marginalia showcases around the world — including Istanbul, Bonjuk Bay, Barcelona Off Week, and Amsterdam Dance Event.
Alongside his personal projects, Predex works as a mixing and mastering engineer for Marginalia, contributing to the label’s evolving catalogue and helping shape the sound of a new wave of artists. Continuing his collaborations with his mentor ELIF and other forward-thinking producers, Predex is steadily building a discography that balances emotional resonance with technical precision.
With his unique combination of artistry and engineering expertise, Predex is carving out a reputation as both a creator of evocative music and a trusted architect of sound in today’s electronic scene — and is one of the future stars to watch.
